Trigakis Animal Feeds

The company was founded in 1978, initially focusing on the trade of cereal raw materials. In 1987, it expanded operations to new privately-owned facilities covering 6,000 sq.m.

From 1995, the company evolved by investing in modern technology to produce and process animal feed in flour form.

In 2006, growth continued with a new investment in building infrastructure and silos with a total capacity of 4,000 tons. This €1,200,000 investment included state-of-the-art equipment for producing compound animal feeds in pellet form, with a production capacity of 7–8 tons per hour.

By 2008, the company ensured top-quality standards with ISO 22000 certification, conducting quality control at every stage of production according to international standards. Regular chemical and microbiological analyses of raw materials are performed. At the advanced factory in Dorothea, Aridaia, Pella, more than 30 different feed mixtures are produced, meeting the needs of both professional and hobby livestock farmers.

In 2010, Nikolaos Trigakis retired and passed management to his children, renaming the company ELENI & SOFIA NIKOLAOU TRIGAKI O.E.

Building on this trajectory, from 2014 onwards the company invested in mechanical and engineering equipment. In 2015, a 350 sq.m. retail store was opened in a different location, along with franchise stores in other towns within the region.

The company’s growth continued in 2020 with the construction of new facilities and silos on a new privately-owned 4,500 sq.m. site, further expanding production capacity and modernizing infrastructure.
